Dimmer Pro is designed as a local utility tool. We operate with a strict privacy-first model:

• No Screen Recording or Keystroke Logging: Despite having screen overlay permissions, we absolutely do not read, record, or track your screen content or keystrokes.

• No Location Tracking: We do not request or use your GPS or location data.

2. Permissions We Request

To provide our core functionality (screen dimming and blue light filtering), Dimmer Pro requests the following system permissions on your device:

• Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to draw the dimming filter over your screen to protect your eyes.

• Modify System Settings (WRITE_SETTINGS): Required to lower the system's default brightness before applying the software filter.

• Post Notifications: Required to show a persistent control panel in your notification tray for quick access.

These permissions are strictly used for the app's core functionality and never for data extraction.

3. Automatically Collected Information (Third-Party Services)

While we do not collect personal data directly, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for advertising and analytics purposes. 

Data collected by third parties includes:

• Device Identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID, Android ID)

• App Activity and Crash Logs

• Device Information (OS version, device model)

Third-Party Providers We Use:

• Serve relevant advertisements to keep the app free.
